Company Overview

It was at the onset of the new millennium, a time of expanded economic growth, a burgeoning building construction industry and increasing private sector investment that the foundation for SC M & E Hardware Supplies (SCM) Group of Companies was first laid. With an accumulated expertise of 15 years in Heating, Ventilation, Airconditioning and Refrigeration (HVAR), founder C K Liew started out in 1999 with SC Mechanical Trading Sdn Bhd, a small trading outfit supplying mechanical materials to HVAR industry. In the ensuing years, the organisation has experienced accelerated growth, attributed no less to diligence and determination, and based on a good understanding of the business environment and commitment to provide the customers with competitive pricing for quality products. Today, SCM is a truly Malaysian private limited company located at Balakong, Selangor and set up a factory building occupying an area of approximately 50,000 square feet of production of pre-insulated pipes named Polytech Insulation Sdn Bhd and office space. With the state of the art computer-aided production facilities to ensure quality and efficiency of the production of pre-insulated pipes, SCM and Polytech Insulation Sdn Bhd have gained excellent reputation in supplying copper pipes, preinsulated pipes for major buildings and projects, both in Malaysia and etc. The success of SCM was not achieved overnight, but through sheer hard work and determination over a passage of time. The main factors are having a good understanding of the business environment, and commitment to provide the customers with competitive pricing with good quality products. With the strong financial backing of SCM Group of Companies, and a team of dedicated professionals and skilled worker, SCM has the capability and capacity to undertake the supply of copper pipes & pre-insulated pipes and other products for major projects in local or overseas market.
